Unfortunately, though people requested "e-mail lists" (listservs) via this system, the hosting service we use considers the security issues of IMAP support to outweigh the benefits of allowing Web-based groups. The reality is that Yahoo Groups and similar services are very good and very reliable. I'll research other ways to allow e-mail notifications, but it might take some time. The service we use is stable and reliable, so I'd rather remain with them despite any limits. They've been good to us!

For now, TAP will remain a Web-only portal, without e-mail notifications for some content. Thanks for understanding there are some technical and security considerations but I will do all I can to improve TAP for users with special needs.

Several upgrades need to be installed this weekend. I apologize for any inconvenience, but before I have students working on the site I need to make sure everything is in tip-top shape. The upgrades are minor and will be performed late at night... so no one should notice. Mainly, I hope to improve the performance of the site.
