The Autistic Place

Students in the Dept. of Writing Studies technical writing courses will begin contributing to this site during the 2008-09 academic year. We look forward to increasing the usefulness and value of The Autistic Place.

My students are allowed to work on a Wiki or similar project that has a "community service" value. The university has made community service a part of the standard for graduation, and I believe online information has an inherent value -- assuming it is accurate! For this reason, I will certainly review the content here as any selected editor for this site would do.

If I am fortunate, there will be one or two students really eager to get involved. I am also hoping local teachers, therapists, and other experts become involved.
